Vb6 missing microsoft dtspackage object library. Most VC wads I installed using this method used this file; for example, Legend of Zelda for NES uses IOS9. 5) COPY the 'loader.bin' file from the folder (do not CUT, you only want to use a copy of it and keep the original here). PASTE it in the wwPacker folder. 6) Now you have the correct loader in the folder for your wad, you can start the patching.

At times, North America gets games that were exclusive to Japan while Europe/Australia gets games that were exclusive to the previous two regions. These imported games are priced a little higher than normal and tend to be straight ports with no translation. (Exceptions include Monster World IV and Sin & Punishment.) Other games that can be priced higher than normal are games based on externally-licensed properties, one example being the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games. Virtual Console games can be retired from the shop, though purchased games can be redownloaded. Some GameBoy Advance games from the 3DS Virtual Console were available to Ambassadors only, that is, buyers of the Nintendo 3DS before Nintendo announced a price drop. Pricing of Virtual Console games can be ludicrous. If you don't want to pay for VC ROMs on your Wii, you can just install them as.wad files through WAD Manager.
Even then, at times (notably emulated Nintendo 64 games), mappings may not be consistent. Wii games in the Virtual Console support the Classic Controllers (which were made with the purpose of the Virtual Console) and GameCube controllers.
Also a thank you to for introducing me to this method. EDIT: Google Chrome doesn't like the file very much. I guess it doesn't like bin files? The file is safe, I simply zipped the folder containing wwPacker and stev418's mod.
If someone has a solution to my problem that would be great. Click to expand.I did what you said by changing the regions using ShowMiiWads instead of FreeTheWads, and installing the Wads with Wii Mod Lite instead of Yet Another Wad Manager Mod. Unfortunately when I load the channel I get the same result, black screen, no response, have to hold the power button on the Wii. I only tried installing 2 Wads with Wii Mod Lite though, because after when I tried to go back to the main menu of Wii Mod everything would freeze, which I assume is not meant to happen, So I tried installing 3 other Wads with YAWMM again but as I said, no luck. I might also add - when I start up YAWMM it says HW_AHBPROT is disabled and asks if I want to load another IOS instead. I've been selecting 'no' but should I be choosing IOS 249 instead?
As with any mod, it does carry risks, but I haven't heard of anyone making a Wii brick in a long time. When you say don't work, is it because of your TV not being able to run in 60htz or just the wads black screen? You may want to have a read of this article then. With this you can, amongst other things like boot straight to a USB loader, region free your Wii.
Rename the file to boot.dol and have it in a folder called WAD manager. The folder name is what you will see when you load it thru Homebrew Channel. Your WAD files will go in the WAD folder. You don't have to rename those. You will load WAD manager thru homebrew channel and then pick the WAD u want to install from there. Once its done it becomes a channel on your wii menu. And like the other guy said.
The majority of these are NTSC, but will work on a PAL console. Be sure to enable the region setting in Priiloader.
Some games also support the lone Wii Remote. PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 games that support 5-player mode require that the users connect a combination of GameCube controllers and Wii Remotes (with or without Classic Controllers attached to the Wii Remotes).
There's also a config file with a brightness setting, and an option to change internal 3D resolution that Nintendo didn't use for some reason. Just change the line 'RenderScale': 1 to have the value 2 instead. Compatibility List [ ] Main article: Input Key [ ] Virtual Console games come from many different systems and have to be mapped to those on the supported console, sometimes having to be mapped to different controllers.
My system menu is 4.3. I tried selecting IOS249 and IOS80 in YAWMM as you said, and as it's been a while since I tried all this I also tried again using WiiMod Lite, and for both Wad managers I tried using an original Wad (NTSC) and converting it to PAL with both FreeTheWads and ShowMiiWads, but I had no luck again with any of these combinations: I might also add though that a month or so ago I managed to get a few PAL-converted N64 Wads working, but I can't remember how I got them to work, and they were playing at the wrong speed anyway. I also believe I got those Wads from a different place than all the other Wads I've been using, but that wouldn't make a difference would it?
I combined the files into one as it is hard to find a download link for them individually that isn't dead. You will also need NTSC wads. You'll have to acquire these yourself. Now the steps (tested and working on Windows 10): 1) unzip the wwPacker folder. 2) Put your NTSC wad into the wwPacker folder. I recommend you start with one at a time.
Hi i have a problem with some games (VC) sorry if it's not the place to ask for help but here it goes: So my problem is that when i try to launch a virtual console game from master system or mega drive and some of virtual console arcade trough the sd card it gives an error (can't launch or something like that) but it works fine with wiiware, NES, SNES and N64. My Wii is softmodded and it is in version 4.3E, all working fine except some virtual console games, oh and the games run well trough the Wii but not trough The SD. Can you help? @BlueLegion I say that because they DO work on a PAL system. You either need to use or make the.wad region free, or set your wii channels to system free via priiloader or similar.
Delete the original wad from the wwPacker folder, as well as the loader.bin you pasted there earlier (this last step is simply to reset the folder to set up for a new wad to patch, but you will find that many wads all use the same loader. The file name is very specific though, so you cannot have all the loaders in the same folder, hence the separation). 9) Put your SD card into your Wii, open the Homebrew channel, and select your favourite wad manager.
Some of them, namely Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros, and Pokemon Snap appear to be working, as the 'You will need the Classic Controller' screen comes up (I haven't actually got a classic controller yet to know for sure, but I have ordered one). Some others like SMB, SMW, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Excitebike aren't working at all though. When I start the channel the screen goes black, the Wiimote won't sync and I have to hold down the power button on the Wii to turn it off. I've tried converting them to Region Free and leaving them NTSC, but nothing works. I also have Priiloader installed with 'Region Free Channels' enabled, btw.

La apague y arranco con todo! De nuevo, por tal motivo evito ese canal jaja. Ahora mi pregunta es, tiene q ver el chip, la version, y el firmware de la consola?
Wii Virtual Console Wads
✓ ✓ Japan-only. Emulates a Japanese MSX2. ✗ ✓ No SGB borders or GBC palettes. Link emulation added with Pokemon VC releases. Only used on Wii in Kirby Collection.
Open the folder. If not, no problem; open the 'forceNTSC_loader' folder instead. This is used for IOS older than 53.
Then you will need to softmod the system so the instillation of WAD files can be done ( is a softmod guide). You will use WAD manager to install the VC/WiiWare game wad files. Then you will need to go to Wii settings, data management, channels and MOVE (do not copy) the VC/ WiiWare games to the SD Card.
3) First you need to ascertain what IOS your VC wad uses. Drag your wad onto the file called 'WadDataInfo.exe'. This will result in a screen popping up with information about the wad.
Drag your NTSC wad into the file called '_wwpacker-Loader.bat'. This will start the process. It will give you a few choices, but you want to press 'X' for every one of them until the window closes. The 'loader.bat' file you pasted here is specifically for using NTSC wads on PAL Wii, so all we need to do is press X until the process is finished. 7) The window will close itself and it will leave you with a file called ' game name [Patched][Loader][RegionFree]', as well as your original wad. This patched file can now be installed to your Wii using a wad manager. 8) Move the patched wad onto your SD card.

There are 60 NTSC releases out there that are not scene approved. 59 VC games and 1 Opera Web Browser. They are fine, but be careful. There are some fake ones, but I don't think any of them do anything truly malicious.
Ok new the Wii scene & notice Im able to download loads of VC games via the net,Although I have'nt grabbed any yet just trying to get more knowledge. My wii is chipped with the wiikey 2 & have done some searching on here for any info But I cannot find to much only some threads whih are quite old,Im assuming I dont just download the files transfer them to the SD card & then the wii reads them,I found something about a wad installer would you use this to transfer the dowloaded VC game to the SD card will then the Wii then run the VC games?
